The Vacation

The word “vacation “itself creates a sense of happiness in everyone .What makes us all to feel happy on hearing this word .? Yeah.....The mind which worked at a greater pace is known to slow down and work according to its pace. Isn't it wonderful?

For a school going kid vacation is to wake up late in the morning, spend more time on the television, play outside with friends and the kid is really more excited for there would be no home works, no test, and wonderfully no tuition People in teens have a different perspective or view to face vacation. Youth
both male and female between 16 to 24 have various outlooks for a vacation. Having finished school these adolescent teenagers are now ready to explore to the world .They find new friends, spend time to improve their passion ,they are ready to fantasise their thoughts.

Now as we move on to the third face “The matured people”both working and home makers ,male and female, married and unmarried, settled and unsettled have long years of their life to experience vacation. Their plans are unlimited. In the male world it is about rest at home, having good food, spending time with kids and family, visiting homes far and near .In the female world it is about quality time with all the members in the family, doing house hold chores ,shopping, finding time for all they missed out.

As we now think of elders ,the retired ones at home their vacation indeed after a long combat in life is worth discussing. Most of the elders today are left alone even having no one to share of what they feel being this way. Hats off to all those elders who haven’t kept them on vacation. Elders are not ready to face vacation. They wait for their sons and daughters their grandparents to be on vacation with them. They fear vacation, and they intend to keep themselves occupied till they receive their call from their creator.

To end up,we are aware that the life and vacation here in this world doesn’t last long. We are to believe that we have a long retiring vacation when we are taken off this world. The happiness that we will all have a peaceful vacation later in life keeps this world swirling. So keep enjoying.

Aggressive Riding

It's common to find the roads congested everyday during the office beginning hours in the morning and ending hours in the Evening. However one can notice the aggressive riding of many bikes, cars. buses, vans, etc... For Example in Chennai, Tamil Nadu  we can find most aggressive riders like a military force staging a war against the enemies. The most affected are the Pedestrians, who cross the road at peak time. Pedestrians who fear to cross are, Old aged people, school children, women and outstation people. The places where people find hard to cross are near turnings, Rountana ,  and crossing other side of straight road.

Although Traffic rules are there, that says Vehicles needs to give way for people who cross road when Red signal is displayed, many are found breaking the rule for their comfort. Though they stop for red signal, few stop over the crossing line or the Zebra crossing line. This makes the pedestrians to fear for life and fear of Green signal displaying immediately. Once the Green signal starts, the vehicle drivers fly on the road rather then starting slowly. If a road crosser requests the vehicle driver to stop near the stop line, they simply throw dominating words, which insults the pedestrians and the fear of vehicles rushing if the Green signal display starts.

During the School time one would wonder if few of the Bike drivers are really human or if some Alien have started riding a bike, who never worry about children, women or old people crossing the road. The same can be observed with few drivers of car, public transport, taxi , van , share auto, etc. Thanks to good hearted people who stop at stop line and give way for pedestrians and who show their caring concern towards their fellow citizen. Those who break the road rules need not be called as citizens, rather may be named as Aliens from our own place.

Also we could notice many Police officials and constables managing Traffic and helping pedestrians by regulating the traffic users, especially the aggressive drivers. Let us be a good citizen by giving way to the pedestrians especially children, women, old people and patients.

Bonding Bahrain’s Binding Tamil Culture

Bahrain

Bahrain, officially “The Kingdom of Bahrain” is a small island country. Many of us would be wondering where is this place on our world map. Honestly, this place is just no less than a mysterious island a very tiny place with so much culture, tradition and multi-lingual community to explore.

Firstly, when someone lands into this tiny island people from various countries would be carrying an impression of dictation part of gulf. Whereas, they end-up exploring themselves onto more partying side of Euro-American culture. But, in-spite of Arabian lavishness, American Parties, Euro trends there is something which slowly grabbed my attention and made me fall in love with this Island. It’s nothing a whole-some Tamil community been meeting so many different people speaking various accent of Tamil belonging to different states of Tamilnadu.

It doesn't end up there, Bahrain holds so many first class vegetarian restaurants under the roof of Capital city of Manama in an area so famous for these restaurants called “Gudaibiya” to name few “Saravana Bhavan”,”Gowri Krishna”,”Sangeetha”, “Pondicherry Restaurant” etc. Moreover, this locality has captive audience with theatres, Indian club featuring Tamil, Hindi & Malayalam movies.

It’s always an emotional moment for every human being on earth when he/she lives away from their home. Where, they are all by themselves missing their mom’s love, dad’s advices, friend’s care and stranger’s conversation. Above all, we being tamilians there is always something as close as faith of god and mom’s love it’s the respect for our language. Am happy to hear, Tamil dwindling all around Bahrain and tamizhans making every moment of Bahrain to make this country proud.

No matter which part of Tamilnadu you belong from Bahrain is just another developed phase of Chennai. If, u get a chance visit this beautiful island to experience our tradition, people and culture which we have lived through all our life. Feel the happiness of language which is no more a barrier here starting from a taxi man to a trading billionaire tamizh talks for itself.

As they say, “A good conversation ends with a wonderful thought”.
“TAMIZHAN ENDRU SOLLADA THALAI NIMIRNDHU NILLADA”.
