Invasive Weed Flower in Tamil Nadu

These are invasive weed plants found in Tamil Nadu hills stations and even in some parts of plains. These plants have thorns in their stems and the flowers are very beautiful. These plants are also grown as a fencing plant. These are also weeds than can grow fast taking the nutrients needed for essential crops. These plants are scientifically known as Lantana camara. Village Life at Athanur - Namakkal District - Tamil Nadu

Athanur is a village near Rasipuram, Namakkal District of Tamil nadu.

Here one can notice a simple life, mostly handloom and powerloom weavers.

Most of the houses have loom inside and their cyclic sounds are heard throughout the village.

Some do farming and others related works.

This village is surrounded by small hills filled with rocks and few heat resistant trees and shrubs. The clouds passing over this hills are very pleasant to watch. When the clouds mask the sun rays, the shades of these clouds over the hills are exciting to watch.
